Probate Litigation Partner
We have an exciting opportunity for a Probate Litigation Partner to join our specialist, award-winning team in Altrincham.
Our firm
Myerson is a Top 200 UK Law Firm as recognised by The Lawyer. We are also proud to be ranked ‘Top Tier’ by The Legal 500, commended by The Times ‘Best Law Firms', and accredited as ‘World Class’ in the Best Companies League Table 2023.
We are one of the largest independent law firms in the North West, a bold claim we are proud to make because it’s been hard won. No instant growth through acquisition or merger. Instead, growth earned from our day-to-day endeavours, an entrepreneurial approach to doing business, and a rock-solid reputation. We recruit staff who are motivated by our core values and have an affinity to our collegiate and independent ethos.
In September 2024, Myerson became a 100% employee-owned business. We are incredibly proud to have been the first law firm in the Manchester market to make this positive step to safeguard our independence, stability, and people first culture for years to come. Being employee-owned means shared responsibility, strong collaboration, and a difference our clients can feel.
The team
The firm's award-winning Contentious Trusts and Probate team is one of the largest specialist teams in the UK, acting on a broad range of complex, high-value and often cross-border inheritance, trust and estate disputes. Consistently recognised as a Tier 1 / Top Tier team by The Legal 500, our department is praised for handling "high value, complex disputes with ease" and is widely regarded as a leader in the field. The team was also named Best Contentious Probate Team at the British Wills and Probate Awards 2025, reflecting their exceptional expertise, depth of talent and commitment to achieving outstanding results for clients.

Working within one of the North West’s leading contentious probate teams, they will be required to work well with experienced professionals within a team-orientated environment whilst maintaining high work standards.
